Bulgarian product breaks into the largest pharmacy chain
ProViotic, a probiotic derived from the Bulgarian snowdrop, is the first Bulgarian product in CVS, the largest US pharmacy chain, the manufacturer told dir.bg.

CVS Pharmacy is one of the largest American corporations, with a market capitalisation of over $100 billion. The Bulgarian product, an innovation by a Bulgarian Harvard graduate in partnership with an American billionaire, is already on the shelves of 9,600 CVS pharmacies across all US states.

ProViotic is produced in Sofia from a unique strain of the Bulgarian lactic acid bacterium Lactobacillus bulgaricus (LB), extracted from snowdrop flowers and grown in organic vegetable juice.

The product has a positive effect on gastrointestinal complaints, is essential when taking antibiotics, and copes with persistent problems such as fungal infections.

At the end of last year, the well-known American host Oprah Winfrey included ProViotic in her list of favourite products and featured it in her magazine, and a few months earlier, in an article on probiotics, the Wall Street Journal acknowledged the potential of the Bulgarian ProViotic to fight infections more successfully and safely than antibiotics, to which bacteria are becoming increasingly resistant.

Recognition that ProViotic eliminates bacteria such as Salmonella, Escherichia coli, Staphylococcus aureus and others also came from the most renowned medical laboratory at Harvard.

A number of clinical studies are under way; at the ISUL hospital the effectiveness of ProViotic against the ulcer-causing bacterium has already been clinically proven.

ProViotic is also succeeding on our market. Because it is practically harmless and free of any allergens and preservatives, it is preferred by people who take care of their health.
