Protecting every customer’s personal data is extremely important to SmartBio Ltd. This privacy policy describes how we process your data and the measures we take to protect it, where and how we collect your personal data, and what your rights are regarding the information we hold about you.
1. What information do we store and process?
We collect the following personal data:

- E-mail address
- Contact address
- Contact telephone
- Company name
- UIC (company number)
SmartBio Ltd. does not process personal data of persons under 18 without the consent of their parents or legal guardians.
2. Purposes for which we use the data
We use your personal data for one, several or all of the following purposes:
- To reply to an enquiry you have sent us.
- To inform you about new or existing products.
- To inform you about current promotions.
- To give you useful advice and important information about our products.
- To ask your opinion (through an online survey) in order to improve the quality of our service and the products we offer.
- To manage and fulfil your orders for delivery of our products.
3. Who do we share your data with?
We work with partners who may process your personal data on our behalf, but only if they meet our standards for storing, processing and protecting data. These may be courier or postal companies that deliver documents, products or other consignments on behalf of SmartBio Ltd.
4. How will you receive information about our products, promotions, etc.?
Only if you have expressly stated that you agree will we send you information by e-mail about our new products, special offers, etc. If you do not agree or wish to withdraw your consent, you can do so in one of the following ways:
- via the unsubscribe link included in every e-mail we send you;
- or by sending us an opt-out e-mail to office@smartbio.bg.
- Through a feature on our site that lets you “delete” yourself after signing in with your e-mail and password, using the “Delete your profile” button.
5. What are your rights regarding your data?
If you have allowed SmartBio Ltd. to process your personal data, you have the following options at any time:
- access to the personal data you provided and to information about how they are processed;
- the right to request appropriate correction, erasure or blocking of your personal data;
- the right to object at any time to the processing of your personal data where there are legal grounds for doing so;
- the right to refuse processing of your personal data for receiving the e-newsletter and other marketing communications;
- the right to lodge a complaint with the Commission for Personal Data Protection if you believe your data-protection rights have been infringed.

6. How long do we keep your data?
We store and process your data in accordance with the law and never keep them longer than necessary. Once the purpose for which we collected your data has been achieved, SmartBio Ltd. destroys them unless the applicable legislation provides otherwise.

We treat your personal data as strictly confidential. To protect them, we take a number of precautions, including administrative, technical and physical measures.
