Bulgarian probiotic – a top health product for Oprah Winfrey
The famous American host, who insists on only organic food on her table, turned out to be a fan of the Bulgarian vegan ProViotic, extracted from a snowdrop flower.

A few years ago Oprah Winfrey decided to go on a vegan diet for 21 days and has since taken a serious interest in organic food. When her throat is dry or irritated before going on air, the host drinks honey syrup with lemon and liquorice. For her parties she orders a gluten-free chocolate cake. And Oprah takes a regular dose of ProViotic for good digestion.

ProViotic is the only food supplement among the products Oprah recommends in the new issue of "The Oprah Magazine".

The Bulgarian probiotic is a new and innovative probiotic extracted from a snowdrop flower and grown in organic vegetable juice. The GLB44 strain on which ProViotic is based is one of more than 300 strains of Lactobacillus bulgaricus (LB) – the Bulgarian lactic acid bacterium, known worldwide and proven over centuries for its healthy and completely harmless properties.

Besides supporting good digestion, ProViotic prevents the harm caused by antibiotics, protects against food poisoning and strengthens the immune system.

Prof. Dr. Onderdonk proved in the laboratory of Harvard Medical School that the GLB44 strain copes without side effects with harmful bacteria such as Salmonella, E. coli, Staphylococcus aureus, Pseudomonas aeruginosa and L. monocytogenes, and the Bulgarian gastroenterologist Prof. B. Vladimirov proved in a clinical setting that ProViotic successfully deals with Helicobacter pylori (the bacterium that causes ulcers).

It is no coincidence that three months ago the Wall Street Journal, in an article about ProViotic, asked the rhetorical question "Will antibiotics be replaced?"

"The greatest discovery in history is that a person can change their future by a minimal change in habits," says Winfrey.

At home Oprah (61) has a large garden which she tends together with her partner Stedman Graham (64). The two got engaged in 1992 but later decided against a wedding and to keep a "spiritual bond". Stedman is a lecturer and businessman in the field of education. He has a daughter from his former wife.
